Steelmax® D1 has higher power, weighs less, and has more features than any drill in its class. Steelmax® D1 accepts up to 1-3/8" dia. cutters with a 2" maximum depth of cut.
• New exposed motor cord
• Ultra compact 14-13/16" working height (with coolant bottle)
• Adjustable cutter guard with built-in chip breaker
• Through-spindle coolant system with removable reservoir
• Little maintenance with no gib adjustment and extreme accuracy
• Fewer parts result in less run-out
• “Safe Magnet” circuitry recognizes magnetic holding power
• Spring slug-ejecting arbor system
• Magnet uses 50% power when motor is not under load
