Easy to mold compound that is an insulator and heat dam to protect surfaces from flames and heat. Putty is easy to mold and adheres to most surfaces. Will not distort or shrink when heated. Will also absorb heat away from heat-sensitive parts to avoid discoloration. Ideal to hold and position parts for aligning.
• Blocks heat transfer when welding, brazing or soldering
• Acts as a jigging and fixturing compound
• Does not contain any toxic elements
• Maintains shape when heated
• Withstands temperatures to 3000ºF (1649°C)
• Can be reconstituted with water for re-use
