Synthetic carbon arc electrode is specially designed for use in compressed-air carbon-arc gouging, chamfering and cutting. Its special formulation provides good oxidation resistance and longer life with reduced carbon contamination. The thick copper coating provides both maximum electrical contact and resistance to breakage. Arc-Cut electrodes are made with rare-earth additives for greater arc stability and reduced smoke. Available in both flat and round electrodes to make scarfing and gouging easy.
