Type 400 Mushroom Lock has a dense stem pattern of approximately 400 stems per square inch. When mated to Type 170, it forms the most universal fastener system in the reclosable fastener family. Type 400 may also be mated to itself when higher-than-normal fastening strength is needed. It is suggested that the 400/400 combination be tested for suitability for particular applications before use.
