All X-Ergon Flashback Arrestors are equipped with replaceable 100 micron stainless steel inlet filters to keep dust, dirt, and other contaminants out, prolonging the life of the flashback arrestor and providing a higher degree of safety. Dust, dirt, and other contaminants can quickly disable a flashback arrestor without an inlet filter, creating the risk of the reverse flow of gases.
X-Ergon Flashback Arrestors use a 3-5 micron element to arrest a flashback, the best porosity for this purpose. The heart of any flashback arrestor is the sintered stainless element and the smaller the porosity of this element, the more efficient it is.
