Used by refineries. OSHA Standard 29CFR, 926.302(b)(1) requires that pneumatic tools be secured to the hose or whip by positive means to prevent accidental disconnection – see Accessories.
• Use of band-style clamps, crimped ferrules or interlocking clamps is suggested (see specific recommendations on individual hose pages)
