Usage ProcedureMaintain a short arc but do not contact the molten puddle. A slight oscillating motion is recommended for flat and horizontal positions. Use a slight weave for vertical and overhead welding. Vertical-down welds should be made at approximately the same amperages as recommended for the flat position.
