Transfer of abrasive, water–based and petroleum–based drilling fluids from a supply ship to an offshore drilling rig or platform; and for transfer applications on offshore or onshore drilling rigs or platforms. The nitrile tube material is designed to provide chemical resistance to petroleum–based fluids and is made with extra thickness to resist abrasion. It uses the same tube compound as Gates Black Gold™ Grade D & E Rotary & Vibrator hoses. The heavy–duty reinforcement is designed to survive extreme oilfield application requirements. The neoprene cover material is designed to withstand the harshest offshore environment including abrasion, weathering (cracks) and extra chemical–resistance for any petroleum products that may come in contact with the cover.
