1. Insert clamp in tool, then insert wrench assembly. If you prefer, install wrench assembly before clamp is inserted.2. Start pumping ratchet wrench forward until proper tension has been applied.3. Place punch on clamp buckle and, while holding tension with ratchet wrench, lock clamp by striking punch with hammer until clamp is tight.4. While holding tension with wrench, swing tool up against buckle, then backward to break off clamp tail. To loosen clamp tail, wind until tail is free. Remove mandrel-wrench assembly.
